Who is standing outside your heart?
What do you really care about?
Looking for a break this week? Close your eyes for 5 minutes and dream a great big dream, something that will drive you closer to your goals. This week, I'm
going to be spending a lot of time working on a book I'm writing about customer service, and putting some of the pieces in place to re-launch my customer service training website.
Want to hear more about my big dreams, how I strive for greatness, and more importantly how YOU can get started achieving YOUR big dreams? Mitch Matthews interviewed for his radio show, where we talked about my big dreams. If you're not familiar with Mitch, he's the founder of the Big Dream Gathering and the wonderful game Do You Q? You can listen in and hear our 15 minute big dreams conversation.
What are your Big Dreams, and how can I help you achieve them?
Nothing better than bean with friends!

I spent the last weekend in Chicago with many of my blog buddies at SOBCon. Such was the case with Colleen "Communicatrix" Wainwright and Adam "Monk at Work" Kayce.
I met Adam last year, and this is the first time I got to meet Colleen in person. Colleen, Becky McCray, Chris Brogan, and Jon Swanson (with a few others) starred on the Great Big Small Business Show many moons ago, so meeting all of them in 1 place was quite a rush for me.
Have you got any old friends you need to (re)connect with? If you're feeling down, pick up the phone this Monday morning and say hi to an old friend...even if you've never met them in person before.
Stephen Hopson, Susan Quandt, Stephen Smith and I started SOBCon yesterday with a trip to the Levenger store in downtown Chicago. Good conferences start by being and thinking productively.
Now that it's Saturday morning, I've listened to Anita Bruzzese and Brian Clark thus far.
The biggest thing I've learned from the presenters and my fellow participants is one big thing:
Honesty and integrity are critical to successful business ventures.
Glad to know I'm headed in the right direction!
I am super excited! I am off to Chicago to SOBCon! Yay! I get to meet a bunch of new friends, learn a bunch of new stuff about blogging, and fill my head full of stuff I can share with you here on Make It Great!
Who am I going to meet? Hopefully everyone on the below list, that's who :) And I'm bringing a regular camera AND a Flip video camera.
If you're going to SOBCon, feel free to call me at 414-640-7445 (text works too) and let's connect! Even if you're not going to SOBCon, feel free to call me sometime anyway. I'd love to connect with you!
Bear hugs for EVERYONE!
Karen Hanrahan shared all about her favorite Attitude Vitamin, Vitamin B (happy). It's interesting how real vitamins can affect our attitude, in ways I never thought of.
Karen had a ton of things Vitamin B does for the body, and I'll share 3 of my favorites.
Go read more about all the great stuff Vitamin B (happy) can do for you!
Super exciting for me is I get to meet Karen this week at SOBCon in Chicago. Are you going to SOBCon? If so, let's make time to connect in Chicago. Call my cell at 414-640-7445 and let's make time to get together. I think I'll be in late Thursday night, and leaving sometime Sunday to make it back to Milwaukee before bedtime Sunday night. So call me and let's make it great in person!
"The important thing is this: to be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become." - Charles Du Bos
"We know what we are, but know not what we may be." - William Shakespeare
What are you willing to sacrifice to become something more?
Do you know how amazing you really are capable of becoming?

Vitamin H: Hugs (especially free hugs)
Today, hug someone. Heck, hug 10 people. Hold them tightly, and just hug them. No reason needed!
Happy Monday :)
What are YOUR ideas for an Attitude Vitamin? Please share them in the comments, and who knows, I just might put yours up next. This week is unofficially Attitude Vitamin week, so stay tuned for more all throughout the week.

Spend a few minutes with some one minute affirmations, over at ipopin.com for just $.99. Under a buck, and you can change your mood with just 1 ipopin. One of my favorites is on the (you guessed it) attitude section, that says "I choose to create a great day!" You can sample the attitude affirmations before you buy them.
You could also create your own by thinking about affirmations that make you feel a little better, a little stronger.
A great source for positive affirmations is the Think Positive! Blog, hosted by my friend Dr. Kirsten Harrell.
Here's a positive thought for my week:
I'm doing what I need to be doing to achieve my greatest goal.
What's your thought for the week?

OK, so I'm probably WAY late to the game for this, but "I has a hot dog" made me spit up laughing today.
Happy Sunday! Hope it makes you laugh a little too!
I'll send a free copy of my book 10 Ways to Make It Great! to the first person who tells me what this is a picture of. Post your thoughts in the comments. I'll be back after work to share the winner.
