Is Your Genius At Work?

I listened to the radio show "Opportunity Knocks" tonight, featuring my good friend Dick Richards from over at On Genius. Dick wrote a phenomenal book called Is Your Genius At Work? In the conversation tonight, the question was asked, what does "genius" mean? Dick and the commentators agreed that genius is like your thumbprint; it's unique for each of us, and it's not something that can be defined universally. It's something only YOU can do. That's a really important distinction because that makes it different from other self-help books.I urge you to buy Dick's book to unlock the genius inside of you...and YES, you do have genius inside of you!!!

When David Pollard reviewed Dick's book, he posed the following question that I think sums up what Dick's book will do with you phenomenally well:

  • What is your genius?
  • What is your purpose?
  • And is the former helping you achieve the latter?
Packed full of insightful exercises and (of course) ideas, Is Your Genius At Work? is a marvelous book on discovery and emotions. Look inside yourself, and unlock your genius! If you'd like to hear the replay of tonight's interview with Dick Richards, click here (should be available within a few days). I must warn you: the host (Tom Stern) and his sidekick try to be funny for the first few minutes of the podcast, but keep listening.

Make every day a Great Day! Phil
