Happy Belated Blogiversary Make It Great!
I just realized that I started blogging 1 full year ago as of March 4th. WOW! I can't believe it.
A few interesting, but not all that meaningful, statisticss:
- 450 posts (combined TypePad and Blogger)
- 110 comments (TypePad only)
- 11 Trackbacks
- 10106 visitors as of 10:51 PM Central Time
- Averaging 105.27 page views per day
A few meaningful things that have happened since I started blogging:
- More than 100 new friends (I can't mention you all by name, but you know who you are, and you ROCK MY WORLD!)
- Part of the Ho'ohana Community
- Part of Team Synergy
- Nearly finished with my first (of hopefully many more) book
- Part of the 100 Bloggers project
So what are my next goals?
- Less posts = more value - I'm going to really try to do some even better posts than I have in the past year, as high quality is really important to me. I'll also use the spellchecker a bit more, and even some grammar checks.
- Ramp up my involvement in Team Synergy. We now have 7 fabulous folks over at the team, and we have so much energy, and we're getting some clarity, so we are poised to take off!
- My original goal for 2006 was 500 posts. I am now shooting for 750.
- More podcasts, especially ones with friends. I think podcasts are important ways to connect with friends, and with readers, so I'm going to do more of them soon.
- More interviews - I have more than a few people set up to interview this year, and starting next week, I will be scheduling some of them.
