"If you put out another's candle, you will also be in the dark." - German proverb
The above quote hit me tonight, and it reminded me of why I write about others and link back to others as much as I can, instead of just writing about me. I love to share the light, and I love to be in the light. I find that the more people I can share the light with, the more light they share with me, and the brighter we ALL can burn.
Think today about who's candle you can light up, and who's candle you might have been blowing out. Light more than you douse, and you'll make the world a better place!
Make it a great day!

That's so true. I've heard many times that the best way to combat darkness is to turn on the light. How many times when we fight against the dark, are we actually snuffing out a candle. I love how clearly you've shown how this spiritual metaphor relates to blogging and linking to others blogs. Thanks for fighting the good fight!

I agree whole-heartedly, Phil. The ideas of mutual respect for the people around you translate regardless of the medium. Sharing the light with others always time well spent.
