Permission Linking?
Last night, I took the time to accurately categorize the blogs I enjoy on a regular basis that relate to the main message on Make It Great!
I've added groupings for Attitude, Communication & Marketing, Lifehacks, Management & Leadership, Motivation and Inspiration, the Synergy Team that I collaborate with, and a section about me titled, appropriately enough, Phil Gerbyshak.
And then I read Lorelle VanFossen's article Do I Need to Ask Permission to Put a Blog in My Blogroll? and I wonder if I did the right thing by linking without permission.
Should I have asked for permission to link to anyone?
After reading Lorelle's article, I've come to understand that the main reason someone would not want me to link back to them is because they either:
a) Don't want blog traffic
b) Don't like the way I write
I really hope you're okay with me linking to you, but if you are in my blogroll and you want me to
remove you, it's simple, just ask me, and I'll remove you. No hard feelings.
Make it a great day!
Phil

Aloha kaua e Phil - and mahalo nui loa. It is a true pleasure to be here, and have my links as part of your blog; I can't imagine that anyone would feel differently with the integrity, passion, enthusiasm, and optimism that is your trademark. I am genuinely, and gratefully honored.
With much aloha,
