Take 5 with Phil
Pam, is VERY silly. She shared her 5 fun things that nobody knows about her. I sure didn't know any of them anyway.
And now, I'm supposed to share five things that people don't know about me. Then I get to tag five other bloggers to do the same! Game on!
Here goes nothing :)
I won my elementary school's spelling bee when I was in 8th grade, barely beating out my cousin Heather Gerbyshak. While a year younger than me, Heather won the spelling bee the year before I did...and the year after I did. She's one smart cookie!
I spent 4 years in the Navy right after high school, spending time in Florida, Alameda, CA, and Seoul, Korea.
I dated my wife Kim for 4.5 years before we finally agreed to get married. We've been married over 4 years, and planned the wedding in just 6 weeks.
I have 2 amazing brothers, one who lives in Seattle, one who lives in Milwaukee near me. Both of their wives are pregnant, one is due in December, one in March. And I mentor a 15 year old boy thru Big Brothers Big Sisters, and he can dunk a basketball already! With 2 hands AND with 1!
I have a day job where I'm a help desk manager, and I LOVE to help people. I've been helping people as long as I can remember. When I was just 2 years old, I got my first "kiss" with a girl who fell down in church and she skinned her knee. I kissed her to make it better. This girl turned out to be 2nd in my high school graduating class.

1st - how did I miss this over the weekend? We were ICE'd over here in STL...maybe I just got disctracted!
2nd - You planned a wedding in 6 weeks!? How'd you DO it?
