5 for Friday: Now Playing at Make It Great!
Today is the start of a beautiful thing:
5 for Friday
What is 5 for Friday?
Great question! Glad you asked.
5 for Friday is my way of offering some link love to some of the 400+ blogs I read every day. I used to do a daily posting of all the things I bookmarked each day with a note, but I realized many weren't clicking in to read the links, so I hope 5 for Friday is better for you reading. If it's not, please say so in the comment.. By the way, you can still get a feed of the articles that Make It Great! here.
5 for Friday
1) First off is Starbucker's Lookin' for Link Love. As Tom Vander Well says in the comments, picturing the ol' Starbucker saddlin' up and wearing a cowboy hat is quite a sight to see. Reading this post is the next best thing.
2) Christine Kane shares how to create a vision board. Easy steps to do it, several options, and the benefits are endless. If you're just getting started with a vision board, Christine's tutorial kicks butt!
3) Jodee Bock's A Miracle a Day blog reminds me of what's important: that I am a blessed son of God. Thank you Jodee! You are a miracle to me every day!
4) Nneka shares 5 tips for better communication. Her best point of all: Say thank you. Quite simple really. Aren't all the best tips the simplest ones?
5) Lisa Haneberg talks to Marcus Buckingham in an engaging Fireside Chat. Where else can you get a free MP3 of a conversation with Marcus Buckingham AND the amazing and talented Lisa Haneberg? Nowhere! Believe me, I've looked. This is awesome stuff. You need to listen to this podcast today.
Honorable mention and BIG THANK YOU goes out to Liz Strauss (the Perfect Virtual Manager) for spotlighting the Relationship Geek in a wonderful article on the front page of the Blog Herald yesterday (where my picture remains today).
Stay tuned for next week's 5 for Friday where I feature 5 more GREAT articles!

Thanks Phil! As I told Tom in his blog, I think a mental image of me in a hat and boots is all I'm willing to share right now - gotta keep the mystery, right? :-)
It was a fun post to write, and I'm glad you had fun reading it. All the best!

Phil:
Yes! This is exactly what I meant!
I especially liked the one on the vision board. I think it's a good addition to a goal tracker. Helps you see why you're trying to reach those goals.
