5 Ways to Change the World
I'd like to share with you how I have changed my world, and ask you some questions so you can can see how you can change your world.
These are NOT ways that only a Warren Buffett or Bill Gates could do with billions of dollars of philanthropy. These are little ways I can change my world, and things that you can do to change yours, and make it the best possible world it can be.

2) Share more - I have a TON by most of the world's standards, and yes, I have less than many in my world. That's okay. I still can share a LOT with others. So I do. I share my time, I share my insight, I share my questions, I share my expertise. I know I can share more. I'd bet you can too!
3) Serve others more - When people need help, I help whenever I can. It could be something small like asking them what floor they need to get off in the elevator, and then wishing them a great day when they get off on their floor. It could be asking them how their day was and being interested in their day. It could be walking over to someone else's desk instead of having them walk to yours. Serve others more and you'll be surprised at how your world changes.
4) Ask more questions, answer less questions - Why do we ask so many questions? Why won't you give me all the answers? Why don't I have more profound thoughts? I don't know. Maybe you do. Will you tell me? I don't know it all, so if you know the answer, please let me know so I know too. What questions do you have?
5) I learn more and I'm aware of my learning more - In my book 10 Ways to Make It Great!, I have a chapter called Never Stop Learning. I live this every day. I learn something new every day. Today for instance I learned that if I want just a little cheese, I need to make sure the guy making my omelet knows I mean just a little cheese. And I learned that when it's cold in Wisconsin, I need to let the hot water run for a few extra minutes or it won't be very hot. I could go on and on about what I've learned today. It's great to learn. It's great to learn from what I learn. What have you learned today?
And 1 more....
The 1 most important thing I do to change the world is....
6) I hug more - I love hugs. I love BIG hugs. I love little hugs. I love hugs. I find that a lot of people love hugs too. They may not tell you they do, but deep down, they love hugs too. There's nothing in the world better than a big warm hug from someone you care for. Who have you hugged lately who's really needed a hug? Who can you hug tomorrow that would really appreciate a big warm bear hug?
Today, and tomorrow, and the next day, think about this:
My world changing things are small, they cost nothing but a little bit of time, and their ROR (Return on Relationships) is HUGE!
[Phil Gerbyshak sends you a BIG HUG where ever you are, whether you know you want one or not.]

Thanks for the virtual hug, Phil.
It is rather surprising that if one were to follow your advice many other pressing problems that face us globally will magically find solutions.
Could it be true...that love is all we need?

Phil, I guess the reality is that you can always be more, have more and live more because you can always learn more.

Nothing new here, and pretty simplistic in nature. That seems to be the key.
While some of us are frantically looking for that new and different solution, there's a smart guy like Phil serving up the old standards in style!
FYI, I referenced this post in my latest, Freeze Tag.
