Passion, Purpose, Hello and Good-bye: 5 for Friday
This week we're going to talk about purpose and passion, leading yourself, a big HELLO to one amazing writer, and a bit of a goodbye to another amazing person.
5 For Friday starts now!
Adam Kayce talks about the Wabi-Sabi Search for Purpose, something a Monk at Work should definitely know a thing or two about, and something we all NEED to know a bit about!
David Petersen talks this week about "Looking for passion" in a great post, where he asks us to share about our passions, and what keeps us up at night. I left a little comment, but you'll have to lean in to read it.
Lisa Haneberg found her passion...and shared it with us 1000 times at Management Craft. 1000 butterfly flaps. Well done Lisa! She shares her first ever blog post in her 1000 times article. It's still as great today as it was when she first wrote it.
Stephen Smith was guest posting at Slacker Manager and talked about Leading Yourself First, great advice for any of us in any sort of leadership role. Note: Just like I believe everyone is in sales, I also believe everyone is in leadership. Read the article and think about it, and I'll bet you agree.
And I'd be remiss if I didn't share my dear friend Rosa Say's last post on Talking Story. GREAT news for all of us inspired by Rosa: She isn't done blogging, not by a LONG shot. She'll be blogging at Managing with Aloha Coaching. Read her farewell, and subscribe to her new MWA Coaching feed. Congrats Rosa. I'm already signed up, and my blogroll is already switched over.
And that's a wrap folks. Next week stay tuned for an awesome interview with Jodee Bock, an article or two about competition, I'll get back to basic again, and more.
I'll also be implementing some of the new graphics Brad Isaac created for me too!

Thanks for the shout-out.
I will have more on that topic next week, plus a review of The Ten Faces of Innovation.

Thanks for the props, Phil — and thanks for spreading Rosa's change, too. Her new blog looks great (not to co-opt your word, or anything...).
Great list!

Mahalo nui Phil, thank you for sharing my news! I think of my coaching business (and our lives) as this wonderful, very intriguing blend of management laboratory and leadership playground, and I seemed to be drawn more to the playground’s jungle gym lately … there is a shift I am sensing in our world which I feel I can much better explore with all of you in a better-focused way at MWAC —our workplaces must respond quickly in our good hands, and as you know, I will always return to the wisdom of our values. So thank you so much for coming along with me! Mahalo for the vote of confidence Adam, I’m coming your way next :-)

Stephen - I look forward to what comes next for you. You've got a great writing style, and I'm excited to learn from you.
Adam - Steal GREAT whenever it fits. It can't be said enough, about you or anyone. And Rosa's new blog IS great, so it fit nicely, thank you very much.
Rosa - You are amazing, and I can't wait to see what the new MWAC brings to light. Thanks for bringing us all along for the ride. It's going to be amazingly wonderful!
