Pave Your Life Roadmap from Paul Williams at Idea-Sandbox. This article will help you answer 2 big questions:
Are you trying to figure out what to do with your life?
What to be when you grow up?
And it's done in a very visual, very appealing way.
Next up is Dr. Ellen Weber, from Brain Based Biz. Ellen shares Top 10 Reasons People Hate Work.
The one that hit me the hardest was the first one:
Relationship problems surface in problems at work.
The rest are equally outstanding, especially if you follow her links to other articles.
Christine Kane shares Resolution Revolution: A Better Way to Start Your Year.
Christine reminds us why resolutions DON'T work, and how to create a better new year's ritual, and includes an excellent "how to put it into action" section.
Fourth on our list for Friday reading is Sandy Renshaw from Purple Wren, who shares 40 Tips for an Exceptional New Year, reminders to all of us on how to live a better, a GREATER, year!
I especially love #5: Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
Last but not least is Henrik Edberg who shares with us Dale Carnegie's Top 10 Tips for Improving Your Social Skills.
The best one is the most important one, at least to Mr. Carnegie:
"The royal road to a man's heart is to talk to him about the things he treasures most."
Great advice for all of us!
What can you share this week that will help make 2008 great?
Please don't be afraid to self-promote, just leave your best stuff in the comments box, so we can learn from you. If you found something, or you wrote something, or you want to write something, just leave a comment. Thanks!

Can I call it "enlightened self-interest" instead of self promotion?
A couple of weeks ago I posted an article called When Your Husband Wants Out.
It got thousands of hits in a short time.
This week my article
http://www.personal-growth-with-corinne-edwards.com/when-your-husband-has-died-a-survival-guide/
had 36 readers.
Is this an example of what Seth Godin talked about that it just reaches the
"right" people?
But just 36?
Today it dawned on me that the right people may not have computers.
Or - that a man would not read this?
Or - the women on the Internet are too young to read this?
There are loved ones - mothers, grandmothers, friends, aunts of the above demographic that could be comforted and helped by this article.
Would you look at it - possibly forward it - or as a last resort - print it out and mail it to someone who could use it?
It's written by me - a person who went throught it. Hard won. No pap. No silly spiritual stuff which is nice but not particulary helpful.
Thanks for this opportunity, Phil.
You are a rarity in this world!
