Phil Gerbyshak, 4x4 Style
Started by Maria Palma, and with me getting tagged on Valentine's Day by Donna Cutting, I thought it might be fun to share a few things about me you might not know, in 4x4 fashion.
Here are 16 things you didn't know about Phil Gerbyshak
Four Jobs I’ve Had:
1) Shoe salesman at 2 sporting goods stores
2) UPS box loader
3) Ice cream guy at a little ice cream stand
4) Guest Services Agent at a hotel
Four Places I've Been:
1) Seoul, Korea - stationed there for a year in the Navy
2) Pensacola, FL - went to school there for the Navy
3) Franklin, MA - stayed with Steve Sherlock and his wife when I went to Boston for a speaking engagement
4) Salt Lake City, UT - spent 3 days there with Chad Hymas
Four Music Artists I'm Listening to Right Now
1) Ellen Winters - Amazing Milwaukee Jazz Singer!
2) James Taylor - I LOVE JT!
3) Christine Kane - Christine is amazing, and I get to see her at SOBCON08!
4) Marc Cohn - Marc's new album is amazing, especially Listening to Levon, the first track on the album, and The Calling, track 2. WOW!
Four Favorite Foods
1) Porterhouse Steak - medium, with just a little bit of garlic seasoning! Oh yeah!
2) Breyer's Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream - Breyer's makes the BEST mint chocolate chip. I'm hoping to have some tonight!
3) Grilled Cheese Sandwich - I love a nice hot grilled cheese sandwich anytime, day or night.
4) Almond French Toast - I love having this at Beans & Barley on the east side of Milwaukee. In fact, I've enjoyed a breakfast with Terry Starbucker and his wife here, and this is what I had. In fact, the picture in this post is from outside the restaurant!
Who am I tagging? Terry is already it so I'm tagging...
Tim Johnson - happy 2 years blogging buddy!
Pam Thomas - Gotta know what the Pam-ster is up to!
Troy Worman - back at it after a break, let's see what Troy thinks, and if he can meme hijack this one!
Steve Sherlock - you let me stay with you, now share your story!

Phil:
This one brought a smile to my face. I love reading little tidbits of things we might not know about you.
And a few of them caught me by surprise. For instance, I know Chad Hymas too! Met him a few years ago at the National Speakers Association convention. Great guy. I was supposed to go to a little gathering he had in Utah but couldn't. He had a little "boot camp" of sorts for aspiring and established speakers. I regret not going. Is that how you met him?
A hot grilled cheese sandwich is A-OK by me! I love cheese. If it weren't so fattening, I'd eat it all day long if I could. :)
I had no idea you were in the Navy - how cool. What was your job with them?
Thanks for sharing bud.
