Expectations and Imagination

Two Quotes:

"There is absolutely nothing that separates the elite from the paupers except their expectations. If you wish to rise above the masses, then let the fire burn fiercely within you. Do this, and it shall be done!." - J. Arthur Holcombe

"Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we go nowhere." - Carl Sagan

Two Questions:

What are your expectations?

Do you believe in the power of imagination?

Hi, Phil!

Imagination power your expectations. And if you believe, strongly and with all your heart, things do happen! :)

I have a lot of expectations, and every time I focus on each one of them, somehow they happen.

It's all a matter of attitude and positive thinking, the stuff that you're espousing. Keep at it! ;)

I agree with Meikah.

Hope, faith, dreams, and visions are all fueled by the power of imagination. Absolutely, I believe. Great quotes, Phil. Thanks! Now, pour me another glass half full of that Kool-aid!

Realism trumps imagination. Far too many people life in a fantasy world of different jobs, different lives, and different spouses.

We cannot expect people or situations to do anything different than what they historically have done. UNLESS a miracle enters -- and that's where God turns the imaginary into the real.

But, I simply do not buy into the assumption that if only 'we hope we can' that's enough. It takes work. It takes sweat. So just do it already!
